be up to here with (someone or something)

be up to here with (someone or something)

To be at one's absolute limit of patience or tolerance for someone or something. I'm up to here with customers who don't bother reading the instruction manual. All their problems would be solved if they just read it for themselves! So many of the teachers I know are up to here with the amount of horrible behavior they have to deal with in their classrooms. I'm up to here with the lack of raises at this job. Why do I even bother putting forth effort every day?
