1. To be bent or otherwise distorted in such a way that something's typical shape or form has been altered. There's definitely a dislocation here—her leg is completely out of shape. Here's your problem—your front wheel is out of shape. Did something fall on this box in transit? It's totally out of shape!
2. To not be physically fit. Oh man, I'm so out of shape—I get winded just walking up a flight of stairs! I'm pretty out of shape after working behind a desk for so many years. A: "These weights feel so heavy!" B: "They only weigh two pounds! Geez, you are out of shape."
