1. To be focused on or related to the crux or essence of a particular topic. Nothing that you're saying is on point! You're just wasting time with mindless rambling. It's a dry topic, so you need to be on point when you speak about it at conferences. Otherwise, people will get bored. If you have a question, please be on point because we don't have a lot of time left.
2. informal To be outstanding or perfect. A: "I definitely think she'll win the talent competition—her ballet routine was totally on point." B: "Not to mention en pointe, har har." Ooh, your eyebrows are on point today! Did you use a brow filler? I don't know how she does it, but her designs are always on point each season.
