be in the mood to do (something)
be in the mood to do (something)
To have a desire or craving to do something. I don't know why, but I'm really in the mood to get some ice cream on the boardwalk today. Dad's just not in the mood to go out to dinner tonight. Can we please change the station to something a bit more mellow? I'm really not in the mood to listen to death metal right now.
