To be physically blocking a light source from shining on someone. Sorry, you're in my light. Would you mind moving over a bit so I can still read? Hey, move it, you're in the model's light! A: "That sounds like a pretty unhappy meow." B: "Yeah, because the cat was sunbathing, and now you're in her light."
