To be knowledgeable of a particular secret. You were in on the secret too? Wow, I really had no idea you were all planning a surprise party for me! It's OK, Jack, Alicia's in on the secret. She knows I'm resigning. No one was in on the secret, because, in my experience, that's the only way to keep something a secret!
