To be unimportant or trivial compared to someone or something else. These new pieces are as nothing compared to his groundbreaking early works. When I was younger, I was as nothing compared to my sister because she was a much better student than I was. Don't worry, I doubt the boss will even notice this typo—it's as nothing compared to last month's massive printing problem.
