1. A large, protruding window that extends from the wall of a building and creates an alcove inside. Mom still decorates the bay window for every holiday. The cat likes to sit in the bay window and bathe in the sunbeams at this time of day. When I was a kid, I would sit in the bay window and read.
2. slang A large or bulging stomach. If you don't get that bay window under control, you'll be asked to play Santa Claus this year! After years and years of beer drinking, most men your age have a bay window. Once none of my pants fit me anymore, I realized that my bay window had gotten to be much bigger than I'd like.
