ate up with (someone or something)

Very interested in or preoccupied with someone or something. Ugh, I'm ate up with a problem that I just can't seem to solve. A: "I think she's just ate up with her grandkids right now." B: "Oh right, I forgot they were in town." I'm still ate up with all this scheduling. Anyone want to help me?
