an idle mind is the devil's workshop

an idle mind is the devil's workshop

proverb When one has nothing to do, one is more likely to get into trouble. Whenever I'm off from school for the summer, my grandmother tries to get me to sign up for group camps and activities, always reminding me that an idle mind is the devil's workshop. Well, it's no surprise to me the boy is doing drugs and stealing. He dropped out of high school and didn't do anything with his life! An idle mind is the devil's workshop, after all. An idle mind is the devil's workshop, so is it any surprise they started causing mischief after being left to their own devices for so long?
