slang A shortening of "asexual," meaning one who does not feel sexual attraction or desire for others, or who does not feel compelled to engage in sexual activity. That's great that you're so into your boyfriend, but I'm ace, so I just don't feel that kind of attraction for people. Hey, Caroline, I know you're attracted to Bobby, but I think he might be ace. Like, I've been his friend for years, and I've never once heard him express sexual interest in anyone, guy or girl. I used to identify as ace, until I realized that I could feel sexual attraction, it just wouldn't happen until I'd formed an emotional connection with the person.
