1. Very excited or enthusiastic. Dude, I'm so amped for the concert tonight—I can't wait to finally see my favorite band live! We were totally amped for our island vacation—that is, until we got to the airport and found out that our flight had been canceled. I was too amped for my first game and didn't play well at all.
2. Angry or annoyed. Mom must be pretty amped today because she just yelled at me for no reason. What are you so amped for? I said I was sorry. You took her yogurt out of the communal fridge? No wonder she's amped.
3. High on drugs, specifically methamphetamines. Emily's behavior was so wild and erratic that I began to wonder if she was amped. A: "Didn't she say she was tired earlier? Where did she get all this energy from?" B: "I bet she's amped." It was really scary—the guy was so amped that he just started seizing out of nowhere.
