A childhood taunt uttered while literally pinching and punching someone on the first day of a new month. Primarily heard in UK, Australia, Ireland. A: "Hey, Tom—a pinch and a punch for the first of the month!" B: "Ouch! Grow up, Barry!" Come here, nerd—a pinch and a punch for the first of the month! My dumb big brother always gives me a pinch and a punch for the first of the month—it's so annoying.
