MBWA

MBWA

An initialism of "management by walking around," the strategy of literally walking among one's employees or subordinates to manage them more effectively. I try to implement a bit of MBWA a couple times a week. I think it keeps my employees motivated, and it also give them a chance to air any questions or concerns they might have for me. Ugh, I hope my next boss isn't so prone to the MBWA—I find it so distracting.
