A phrase used to encourage someone, usually a customer, to ask for what they want. Well, take a look around, and if you don't see what you want, please ask. A: "Can I help you?" B: "No, I'm just browsing." A: "OK, well, if you don't see what you want, please ask for it." A: "If you don't see what you want, please ask!" B: "In that case… you guys don't happen to sell inflatable rafts, do you?"
