can't get over (something)
Unable or unwilling to accept or believe something. Often used hyperbolically. I just can't get over the fact that our team lost at the last minute like that. That movie was so fantastic, I can't get over it! A: "I still can't get over the fact that I won that award." B: "It's great that your hard work is finally being recognized!"
