An abbreviation for "been there, done that, got the T-shirt," a jocular, sarcastic, or condescending expression of familiarity and boredom with a certain situation or thing. Refers to buying a T-shirt as a souvenir from a tourist destination to prove that one has been there. Oh, you're going to Paris this summer? BTDTGTS. A: "Anyone in these forums ever experience a problem with copy/pasting new code into an existing program?" B: "Oof, that used to plague me during my days as a developer, all right—BTDTGTTS." Her response is always "BTDTGTS." Like, I could tell her I'm going to Mars, and that's still what she would text me back—it's so annoying!
