An informal farewell when it is uncertain at what point in the future one will meet the other person again. A: "All right, I'd better head out. We should get together again soon." B: "Yeah, sure. My schedule's pretty crazy over the next few weeks, though." A: "Oh, OK. Well, I guess I'll see you when I see you, then." A: "What time are you coming home?" B: "Not sure yet, there's still a lot of paperwork to sort through." A: "No worries. I'll leave the lights on for you—see you when I see you." I know you'll be traveling a lot this month, so I'll just see you when I see you.
