slang A fall from something one rides, such as a bicycle. It's OK, you just had a little gravity check there—let's try it again! Honey, it's really not a big deal—everyone has a gravity check when they're learning to ride a bike without training wheels. A: "Yikes, how'd you get all those scrapes and bruises?" B: "Had a little gravity check on a slippery road while I was riding to work last week."
