Excluding one specific thing. I love this school, except for one thing—the lack of classes in my major. A: "I'm having a pretty good day—well, except for one thing." B: "That boring meeting this morning?" A: "Yep!" I think my presentation went really well, except for one thing—Brian falling asleep and snoring!
