To die in a particular accident or situation. With the reckless way he drives, I won't be surprised to one day hear that he died in a fiery car wreck. How many people died in the plane crash? Are there any survivors at all? Because it happened in the middle of the night, when the factory was empty, no one died in that gas explosion.
