slang To include one in the profits from something, such as a business venture. They better cut me in on the deal—I came up with the original concept! If he wrote any part of the song, then yes, we have to cut him in on the royalties. Now that Sarah knows how much money we're making, she's going to want us to cut her in on the profits.
