To potentially have positive results (despite initially seeming unfavorable). Missing my flight was no bad thing because I got to spend an extra day with my grandkids. If they sold their app for a billion dollars, it's certainly no bad thing for other tech companies. Running late for work was no bad thing because it allowed me to avoid that huge traffic jam.
