Suzy Homemaker

A woman who pursues, personifies, or is characterized by the traits associated with a conventional housewife, especially as depicted in the 1950s and '60s. The name comes from a toy line of functional miniature kitchen and household appliances sold in the late 1960s. Primarily heard in US. All my life I've just wanted to be a little Suzy Homemaker exactly like the women in my grandmother's magazines. Steph is such a Suzy Homemaker that I always feel self-conscious whenever she comes over to my disheveled house.
