3. noun, slang One's possessions. When are you coming by to pick up your junk? I'm sick of having it clutter up the apartment. Is it all right if I leave some of my junk with you instead of paying to put it in storage?
4. verb, informal To dispose of something as garbage. A: "Do you want this old trophy from your sixth-grade Little League team?" B: "Nah, you can junk it." I wish I hadn't junked my old record player. I never knew it was such a valuable antique!
