be man enough

(redirected from Is he man enough?)

be man enough

To have enough courage or strength of character (to do or endure something), especially that which is difficult or unpleasant. This is the spiciest sandwich on our menu. Who here thinks he's man enough for it? I was mostly raised by my father because he was man enough to stay home with the kids so that my mother could advance her career.
