Used to indicate that one is about to reveal something they expect will be very surprising to the other person. A: "I've always wanted to see Paris." B: "Well then have I got news for you! We're going there this summer for our anniversary!" A: "The company should survive the quarter financially, so long as nothing disrupts our production schedule."
