1. An initialism for "hometown honey," a romantic partner that one began to date before leaving their hometown to go to college. Would you stop flirting with Dan? He's got an HTH!
2. An initialism of "hope this/that helps." Used in text messaging and online communications. I've attached some instructions I found online—HTH. Sure, take as many cough drops as you need. HTH.
3. An initialism of "how the hell," used to emphasize surprise, shock, anger, disgust, etc., as an intensifier of the question "How?" Used in text messaging and online communications. HTH was I supposed to know that? HTH…? The file is gone from my hard drive! Just HTH did the newspapers find out about this?
