2. slang Very intoxicated with drugs or alcohol. Do you remember last night at all? You were as high as the sky! There's no way I'm letting you drive—you're high as the sky! I'm two years sober now, but dealing with my family makes me long for the days when I could get high as a sky.
3. Very happy. I was as high as the sky when I found out that I'd gotten an A on my hardest exam. I have felt high as the sky since getting engaged. When Josh popped the question, it was truly the happiest moment of my life. It's Christmas morning—of course the kids are high as the sky.
