1. vulgar slang The buttocks. She told the man he had a fine ass as she walked past him. Someone grabbed my ass in the dark.
2. vulgar slang The anus. I'm never eating spicy food again. Seriously, it felt like I had fire coming out of my ass the next day!
3. vulgar slang A person regarded as an object of sexual satisfaction. Used especially in reference to women. The date went well at first, but I could tell after a while that he was more interested in just getting some ass than developing any sort of relationship. We were all out for a fun night of dancing, but Sarah was on the prowl to get a hot piece of ass.
4. rude slang A person, especially as the object of derision, anger, or violence. (Always comes after a possessive adjective.) If we ever find him, his ass is dead, understand? Tommy, get your ass inside this second!
5. rude slang Used after "like" to describe someone or something as being disgusting. I'm sure I smell like ass after being in the gym all afternoon. Yuck, this soup tastes like ass!
6. rude slang Used after "like" to describe someone or something as being bad or unpleasant. I shouldn't have drank so much last night. I feel like utter ass this morning. His painting looked like ass, but I didn't want to hurt his feelings.
7. rude slang Ridiculous lies or nonsense. Used to express irritation or exasperation. You mean we have to come in on Saturday for work, too? God, what a bunch of ass! His whole speech was a load of ass from beginning to end.
8. rude slang A stupid, boorish, or inept person. In this usage, "ass" is a reference to donkeys and other animals of the subgenus Asinus. Why do you have to be such an ass, Jerry? Can't you act with a little bit of tact and common sense? I felt like a total ass after realizing that what I'd said had come across as so offensive.
9. rude slang Used immediately after an adjective (usually connected by a hyphen) to intensify its meaning. Wow, that's one big-ass TV you've got there! How many inches is it? Please, Dave, not another one of your stupid-ass jokes.

2. n. women considered as sexual gratification. (Rude and derogatory.) All he could think about was getting some ass.
3. n. one’s whole body; oneself. (Usually objectionable.) Your ass is really in trouble!
