We travelled to Greece while we were shooting My Life In Ruins and that was a really great experience because Nia is treated like a national hero there. The scene will appear in "My Life in Ruins," also starring Richard Dreyfuss, and follows a decision by Greek authorities to relax their ban on any commercial use of ancient sites. Its castle, associated with the semi-mythical medieval knight Greifenklau (gripping talon), has long been in ruins, with its massive curtain wall well preserved and repaired, but not so very much more than that above shoulder level. |
