someone who is holier-than-thou behaves as if they have better morals than other people I can't stand that holier-than-thou attitude that some vegetarians have.

There is a certain amount of hypocrisy and holier-than-thou attitude from some of those people who criticise the Government and other MPs in the House of Commons.
If it were me, I would not hesitate for one moment in cashing it in, and jetting off to a sun-kissed island to enjoy the fruits of my good fortune, and neither, I suspect, would many of our holier-than-thou MPs, who as a hatful of recent media stories about their dodgy expense claim would testify, should be the last ones to cry foul, and point any accusing finger towards anyone.
