Prepare the hide in the usual way by first salting it, removing all flesh and fat; and, if necessary, shave it down to the desired thickness. Then think about some smaller items you could hide in the leaves or the bark of the tree, or between other objects. Another way of removing the hair is to put the fleshed hide in a frame and allow it to dry. |
