Rur. to lift someone or something. See if you can heist that box onto the top shelf. Dad heisted me up so I could see over the fence. John groaned and heisted up the bale of hay.
1. n. a theft; a robbery. (see also lift.) Lefty just had to pull one last heist.
2. tv. to steal something; to rob a person or place; to lift something. (Underworld.) The thugs heisted her and took her purse and watch.
