If our local vets need those services now -- or an MRI, CT scan, or any emergency service at all -- they have to go over the hill to the West L. Here there are a lot of chains, and what I would call more conservative food, while if you go over the hill you end up with people who are pushing the envelope more. As the Valley demographic becomes more low-income, and office properties continue to age, I think companies that have to pay $185 to $200 per square foot will go over the hill in search of better value for the same price. |
