come out in (something)

come out in (something)

1. Literally, to go outside while wearing something in particular. My mom won't let me come out in my bathing suit without a cover-up. I had to come out in my robe to scold the neighbors for being so loud at 3 AM.
2. To show symptoms of a rash. Every time I eat that particular fruit, I come out in hives.
