bring (something) to fruition

To complete or do something successfully. Although we initially struggled to get funding for our project, we were able to bring it to fruition. When Mark won the lottery, it brought his dream of living the glamorous life to fruition. I agree, that initiative is a good idea, we just don't have a big enough staff to bring it to fruition right now.
