bolt bucket

bolt bucket

A vehicle (typically an automobile) or other machine, especially one that is or seems old, broken down, or in poor repair. I know my car doesn't look like much, but this old bolt bucket will get us across the country without a hitch. He's only 18, so he doesn't have much money. He can only afford a bolt bucket. I can't believe you bought this car as is—it's a total bolt bucket!
