cliché Your villainous plan is not going to succeed. Most commonly used in, in reference to, or in parody of traditional archetypes, motifs, and story arcs of heroes fighting against villains. A: "You'll never get away with this, Dr. Nofinger!" B: "Au contraire, Mr. Blonde—I already have!" A: "And so, with the world's financial markets in disarray, my company will operate in the shadows, accumulating more wealth and power than can possibly be imagined!" B: "You'll never get away with it—I'll make sure of it!"
