worn up

1. Damaged or degraded, as from heavy use. My boots were getting worn up from the rough and uneven terrain. The car was pretty worn up by the time he returned it to the rental office.
2. Exhausted, weakened, or fatigued, as by some intense or prolonged action or force. The kids are always so worn up after their swim lessons. At the peak of my fitness, I could run nearly 20 miles without getting worn up.
