Repeatedly over a course of many weeks; over and over again over many weeks. Used especially of things that occur on a weekly basis. We've been coming back to this restaurant week after week—I think it's time to try somewhere new. Week after week we worked on that treehouse, until, on the very last day of summer, we finished.
