To cause a possibility to happen or come to fruition. We've been trying desperately to keep the center open, but if that funding gets pulled, it'll tip things over the edge. We'll have no choice but to close. We were just shy of our $1 million fundraising goal until a last-minute donation tipped it over the edge.
