Even something that one feels confident will succeed can have disastrous problems before it concludes. Everything seems to be going smoothly, but there's many a slip between cup and lip, so don't lose focus until we're over the finish line. The candidate certainly has a commanding lead in the polls presently. But there are still two months to go till election day, and there's many a slip between cup and lip.
