A man who is currently being celebrated, honored, or admired by others, especially for a recent victory, accomplishment, or other cause for celebration. Jake was man of the moment at the office after securing the biggest customer their business had ever had. It's a surprise birthday party for you, Rob! You're the man of the moment! After writing that bombshell exposé about corruption in Washington, Ben was the man of the moment.
