humorous slang Said when a person, especially a man, exposes their upper arms during warm and sunny weather. "Guns" is a slang term for large arm muscles, especially biceps. A: "Really? You're going to spend the whole barbecue with your shirt off?" B: "Heck yeah, baby—sun's out, guns out!"
