smooth-talker

One who is exceptionally confident, persuasive, and charming in speech, especially with the intent of manipulating or deceiving others. Tom is always such a smooth-talker with the ladies. I don't think he's ever left the bar alone. You've got to be careful of smooth-talkers in this industry who promise you the world and then rob you blind.
