shove (one's) way

To force a path for oneself (to, through, past, etc.). Followed by a preposition or adverb of place. I shoved my way through the crowd to get out of the auditorium. The rude man shoved his way to the front of the line.

shove one's way (somewhere)

to make a path through a crowd by pushing. The impatient man shoved his way through the crowd. The reporter shoved her way to the front of the crowd.
