Two different, contrary, or opposite perspectives about or aspects of something. We fear death because it seems unknown to us, but it and life are really just different sides of the same shield. Thus we can see that arrogance and envy are often different sides of the same shield, both provoking and feeding off of the other. I was very happy in my relationship in the beginning, so I should have seen this coming. Joy and pain are just different sides of the same shield, aren't they?
