1. slang A real or imagined illness, ailment, disease, or infection. I've just had this persistent scrud ever since I came back from my vacation. He came back from the jungle with some nasty-looking tropical scrud on his arm.
2. dated slang Venereal disease. It was nearly considered a badge of honor to come back from shore leave with some kind of scrud in your pants.
3. slang Filth or refuse that is between a solid and liquid state. A portmanteau of "scummy crud." Our bath has a nasty ring of scrud all around the base.
