push (someone or something) about in (something)

To move someone or something forward or from place to place while situated inside of some means of transport. I loved going to the grocery store with my parents and having them push me about in the shopping cart. I had to push the boxes about in this rickety old cart that I could steer.

to propel someone or something about on wheels. Freddie pushed his brother about in the wagon. The nurse pushed around Aunt Mary in her wheelchair.
